My dad has been a civil engineer for nearly 40 years, but he's not your typical pocket-protector-toting geek. He's probably the only engineer who can go to a job site in a jacket, tie, light-colored dress pants and white dress shoes and come out without any dirt on him!

My dad is so cool because he knows basically how to solve every problem. It can be something tangible that he can always fix (I have no idea how to fix anything!) or a simple statement that makes everything seem so clear and my problem as insignificant. Therefore, as he always says, "Nothing is that big of a problem that you need to make yourself sick about. Besides, I can always help because that is what I am here for!"

Why is my dad the coolest, because he is available to talk whenever you need him, and always knows the right thing to say. He provides for a family of five, and allows us to live without sweating the small stuff. He keeps our lives cool and dry, and enjoyable.

Dad is always there for me when I need him. He rides a Harley motorcycle and tries real hard to be cool when my friends are around.

My dad passed away in 1989 after purchasing Carrier product in parts of five decades from 1948 to 1989. He did commercial refrigeration and AC and used Carrier 5F/H and 6D condensing unit sets for lots of refrigeration applications. He had a fifty some year relationship with Carrier. Even though he never knew or met Willis Carrier, he was so loyal to their products. I work for Carrier, and I think it is just because my dad was so devoted, I find it a special place to work because it remember it as a company that fostered my Dad's trust he loyalty.

I think that my dad is the smartest man alive, but what I really think is "coolest" about him is the way that he cares about me and my family. He is the greatest and I love him.

My pops is the King of Cool because he works harder than any man I have ever met to allow my brothers and me the greatest opportunities in life. He is a great man! Plus, he's fun as hell.

My dad is the man. Even though he is aging a bit, the man still wakes up at 4:15 every morning to go to work, runs at least 6 miles 3-4 times a week, and still has time to make fun of my friends when they come over. I mean the man went skiing with a broken nose after his doctor told him not to, just so he would keep his promise to his son to take him skiing. My friends love him, my family loves him, and most of all I love him for being the cool dad that he is.

My dad is the best--ever. He keeps a lot to himself, so when he tells me he is proud of me, I know that takes a lot and he means it. But, I just came to realize how proud I am of him. He works hard to support his family and he shows us how much he loves us by the things he does everyday. He treats people with a unique mixture of kindness, humor, respect and love. He has taught me to do the same.

He is cool because he taught his son how to be responsible, outgoing, aggressive, and to love cars. He was always there for me and taught me everything I need to know about sports and life, I am a better son and future husband because of him.

As a father to be, I look at my dad as a role model. He had a busy job and traveled a lot while I was growing up but he never - NEVER - missed a ball game, piano recital, boy scout camping trip, or birthday. Now he is 50, and I still want to be just like him.

We had a house fire and my Dad saved us. We had been living in the house less than 5 months. After the fire we didn't have much. He is great because he did not give up hope. It took us a long time to get our house back in order. Dad uses his paychecks to buy things rather than loans. He is tough on me at times but he is way cool.

My father is cool because he drives a 1953 MG convertible, which is so open and exposed to wind that it's cold to ride in even when the temperature is in the upper 90s. He catches everyone's attention when he drives it, though, because he looks great in it.

My father is cool because he purchased an environmentally friendly central air, thus protecting my future environment. Even though the unit he replaced was still working.
